| Very hardy fern indigenous to moderate climes in the Northern hemisphere. Spreads well and is easy to divide. Young fiddleheads (unfurled fronds) are edible. Most common gardenfern here because it spreads quite rapidly. This plant can be found in the botanical garden in the following locations:
